Asynchronous Learning

At Indian Academy Degree College – Autonomous (IADC-A), learning doesn’t stop when the class ends. Our Asynchronous Learning initiative provides students with the flexibility to learn at their own pace, anytime, anywhere.
In today’s world, continuous learning is essential. As technology reshapes industries and new skills become vital, self-paced online learning has become an important part of higher education. The recent shift toward e-learning, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, has only reinforced this need for adaptability and access.
Through this initiative, we’ve created a curated library of short and animated videos covering key topics across various programs. These resources help students strengthen their understanding of core concepts and revisit lessons whenever needed.
At IADC-A, we recognize that every student learns uniquely. Asynchronous learning empowers learners to take control of their own progress, combining freedom, flexibility, and focused academic growth.

ICT-Enabled Teaching
At Indian Academy Degree College – Autonomous (IADC-A), technology and teaching go hand in hand. To strengthen digital learning and create an environment that supports innovation, the college has established a Digital Transformation Committee. The committee works to make ICT tools and resources accessible to every member of the academic community, faculty, students, and administrative staff alike.

To ensure effective use of these tools, faculty members receive regular training in hardware, pedagogical software, and digital teaching platforms. Classrooms across the campus are equipped with 59 DLP projectors, while all 18 departments have video conferencing systems, cameras, and dedicated computers. A 1 Gbps high-speed Wi-Fi network ensures seamless connectivity throughout the campus.

Technology is also integrated into the assessment process. The HIREMEE App, used for online examinations with live proctoring, has streamlined evaluation and helped maintain academic integrity.

Students and faculty have access to a wide range of online academic resources such as INFLIBNET, DELNET, NPTEL, SWAYAM, J-GATE, Shodhganga, e-Shodhsindhu, and e-PG Pathshala, enriching classroom learning with global knowledge platforms. By combining modern infrastructure with skilled teaching practices, IADC-A continues to enhance the learning experience through effective ICT-enabled education.
