Overview
MCom in Finance and Accounting (2 years / 4 semesters) — affiliated with Bengaluru North University — is a specialist postgraduate programme for students who want to build a strong foundation in financial analysis and move into senior finance roles. The curriculum starts with core accounting and finance theory and progresses to advanced topics such as corporate finance, investment analysis, financial modelling, portfolio management and business analytics. The programme emphasises finance-focused learning (rather than general management), and combines classroom theory with industry exposure through a corporate internship (Semester 3) and a capstone project (Semester 4). Graduates are well-placed for careers across banking, asset management, insurance, fintech and corporate finance functions.
